Gather together with us to remember your loved one (whether a grandparent or child, relative or friend) and raise funds to support all the children and families who have been helped by Helen & Douglas House.

By registering to take part you will receive:
• FREE t-shirt (over 10s only)
• FREE commemorative medal at the end of the walk
• FREE access to the beautiful grounds of Waddesdon Manor
• FREE parking and shuttle bus to/from the Manor from the car park
• FREE hot/cold drink on arrival
• FREE children’s trail on the route with prizes
• Welcome pack

Enjoy the music and craft activities in our Event Village, in the Aviary Glade, with your family and friends, and after a walk through the beautiful grounds, relax with a picnic.

In taking part we ask you to raise £50 (or £100 as a family) to help us be there for families who need our help in the future. On registration, an online fundraising page will be set up automatically – you can then share this with your family and friends. Or, you can use the sponsorship form in your welcome pack.

Please register for the walk here. For any questions or further information please contact events@helenanddouglas.org.uk.

About Helen & Douglas House

Helen & Douglas House, set up as the world’s first children’s hospice, helps local families cope with the challenges of looking after a terminally ill baby or child who will die prematurely.

Based in Oxford, but supporting families from the surrounding counties, it cares for children with life-limiting and terminal conditions at the hospice, through its outreach service and in hospital.

Helen & Douglas House is a homely place for local children, living with life-limiting and terminal conditions, and their families. It provides care in a warm, safe environment. The hospice is filled with laughter, whilst also being peaceful place where families can create happy memories in their final days, weeks, months or years together.
