With all profits going to the upkeep of Waddesdon, its gardens and collections we’re grateful for every order. Our bestsellers were Rimapere Sauvignon Blanc and Aguaribay Malbec.

Six Fischer’s turaco chicks born
Throughout the year, the Aviary team continued to work onsite to care for the birds. Your support allowed them to continue vital conservation work and they successfully bred six Fischer’s turaco chicks, a threatened species.

20,000 took a virtual tour
Despite having the House closed for most of 2020, over 20,000 of you took a closer look at some of our rooms and collections with our 360 tours.
1,000 enjoyed a beautiful backdrop
Many of you added a little Waddesdon glamour to your virtual meetings and calls with some of our favourite interiors, garden views and paintings.

Waddesdon chefs packing up food ready for delivery
7,332 meals delivered to the local community
The Rothschild Foundation funded a scheme working with local organisation Aspire and the local Waddesdon Community Group to provide meals for students and local residents shielding, cooked by Waddesdon’s chefs.
1,000 chocolate eggs donated
When we closed last spring we found ourselves with quite a few chocolate eggs to spare. We were delighted to deliver 900 Easter eggs to Aylesbury Food Bank, and ten boxes to John Radcliffe and Stoke Mandeville hospitals.
6kg turkey and 100 burgers donated
Having found ourselves unexpectedly closed just before Christmas, we were delighted to donate some much-needed food, sandwich fillings and frozen foods from our catering outlets to Aylesbury Vineyard foodbank.
Among the donated foods were:
20L egg mayonnaise
10L beetroot hummus
4 wheels of brie
6kg sliced turkey
60L tomato soup
10 packs of little gem
100 frozen burgers
150 portions of plaice in breadcrumbs
