Enjoy a fun day out with all the family over the Coronation bank holiday weekend at Waddesdon.
Admire Coronation carpet bedding
On the Parterre, Waddesdon’s famous carpet bedding will honour the new King and Queen Consort, depicting the royal ciphers in over 55,000 3cm plants.
Top tip – from mid-June, see summer bedding inspired by the Coronation with blooms in regal reds, whites, blues, purples and golds.
Coronation activities in the Power House
Stop off in the historic Power House where there will be a royal-inspired, colouring-in activity for children. We will also be screening the Coronation live here.
Classic British treats
For a bite to eat, enjoy special treats designed by our in-house chefs in celebration of the Coronation. On Saturday, enjoy a classic afternoon tea and on Sunday and Monday we will be offering traditional roasts. All served in the Manor Restaurant. At the Stables, tuck into a Coronation burger.
