Conservation Hub

Inside the Conservation Hub you can find out how the Rothschild Foundation is implementing the Sustainability Strategy at Waddesdon and how we encourage everyone to reconnect with nature.

There are over 10 different animal skulls to handle and identify, 100s of beetles to observe and understand why they are so important for our soil, and you can use our microscopes to see stunning details of butterfly wings or look deep into a fly’s eye. Find water fleas in our pond water, test your bird identification of the species found on our new wetlands, extract skeletons from owl vomit and much more.

The Conservation Hub is located near the Woodland Playground and is open during school holidays.
