Once upon a time at Waddesdon...
Step inside the house festively decorated with twinkling lights, mesmerising installations and immersive soundscapes inspired by three classic childhood tales, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and The Snow Queen. As dusk falls see the Manor’s extraordinary façade illuminated with spellbinding animated projections, new for 2023 and created by artist Jamie Shiels who has worked on projects at Buckingham Palace, The National Gallery and the London Olympics.
Light trail
As the sun goes down, follow a new light trail through the Pleasure Grounds with new installations, playful interactive elements and seasonal favourites. As music fills the air, walk beneath a glowing canopy of orbs, see twinkling starbursts and spot larger-than-life 3D birds lit with fairy lights. At the Stables, find The Lights that Dance in the Night, a new exhibition featuring displays by local schools.
Christmas Fair (until 17 Dec) & Food Village
Browse over 80 hand-selected stalls at our Christmas market, housed in charming wooden chalets and surrounded by twinkling trees. Grab a festive bite to eat from the Food Village and enjoy a warming hot chocolate or mulled wine.
