Find unique gifts at the Christmas Fair
On your arrival at Waddesdon, make sure to explore the many treasures that can be found at the Christmas Fair. Running from 12 Nov – 18 Dec, the Fair is a village of wooden chalets selling high-quality, unique gifts and decorations. Find out more about the Christmas Fair here.
Go back in time at Christmas in the House
The must-anticipated return of Christmas in the House is sure to delight visitors of any age. When it’s your timeslot, head to the House entrance and follow a new route through the East Wing, admiring festive displays along with the Manor’s many treasures. Tickets for the House are selling fast so book now to avoid missing out!
Enjoy a Festive Afternoon Tea
Once you’ve explored the house, enjoy Festive Afternoon Tea at the Manor Restaurant. Please note that afternoon teas must be pre-booked. When twilight begins, it’s time to start the illuminated light trail.
Enjoy the light trail in the grounds
Head towards the Winter Light sign near the Food Village to start the illuminated light trail. Highlights include 5,000 orbs creating a glittering blanket and a tunnel of twinkling stars.
Marvel at the Manor Illuminations
You’ll finish the first part of the light trail back at the Christmas Fair at the front of the Manor. By now the sun will have fully set so it’s the perfect time to marvel at the wonderful Manor illuminations, set to atmospheric music.
Warm up with a hot drink
Stop off for a mulled wine or hot chocolate from the Food Village to take with you as you continue on the trail. Find out more about the Food Village here.
Discover our Winter Woodland
Continue on the light trail by heading down towards Miss Alice’s Drive which has been transformed into a Winter Woodland complete with woodland creatures, twinkling fairy lights and a display of lanterns decorated by local schools.
Experience Immersed in Light
Once you reach the Stables, experience Immersed in Light in the Coach House Gallery, a new indoor light feature for 2022 that is sure to delight visitors of any age.
Pick up decorations at the Christmas Shop
At the Stables we also have our pop up Christmas Shop offering baubles, festive decorations and stocking fillers. Why not pick up a little something to remember your visit by?
Enjoy Fish & Chips at the Stables Cafe
Following a browse in the shop, finish off your day by tucking into fresh fish & chips for dinner at the Stables Café. As well as classic fish and chips, we will be serving sausages and pie.
Visit the Gift & Wine shop
Make your way back up to the Manor via the path adorned with chandeliers to end your visit at the Gift & Wine shop. Choose from Rothschild wines, guest wines, spirits and food perfect for festive celebrations. For something extra special see our range of jewellery, homewares as well as Christmas decorations.
