House & GroundsTake part in a free talks and tours this season and explore deeper into the world of Waddesdon.
Spotlight Talks in the House
Enjoy a five minute talk from one of our knowledgeable House Host volunteers, presenting an item from the collection that they are particularly interested in.
These talks run at 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm. A sign in the relevant room will indicate a which times the talks will be happening that day, subject to volunteer availability.
Grounds Walks
Make the most of your time at Waddesdon by joining one of our Garden Guides on a guided tour around the Grounds. No two tours are the same as each guide has their own style and route.
These tours last between 45 minutes to an hour, and start from Visitor Information at 11:30am and 2:30pm. Subject to volunteer availability.
Conservation Hub
Drop in and reconnect with nature at the Conservation Hub. You’ll have the chance to learn about the different species that live in and around Waddesdon, as well as using a microscope to see the beauty of nature.
10am – 5pm, Wed – Sun.
Meet the Aviary Keeper
Taking place at the Aviary, hear about the conservation work that our Aviary Keepers do, as well as the purpose of the Aviary in the past and present day.
These talks take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 2pm until 25 Oct.
