What to do this autumn at Waddesdon

Discover the best things to do this autumn in the house and grounds at Waddesdon, including seasonal activities for all the family.

1. Explore the autumnal grounds

Walk through the grounds and see the leaves change colour as greens give way to seasonal oranges, golds and ochres.

2. Cosy up with a hot chocolate

Stop off at the Stables Café or one of our food to go outlets for something to warm the soul.

3. Have a Sunday roast

On Sundays, tuck in to a hearty roast with all the trimmings in the Manor Restaurant.

4. Explore inside the house

These are the final weeks you can enter the House and discover the treasures of Waddesdon before we put it to bed this Autumn in preparation to deck the halls for Christmas.

Book your tickets now before it’s too late! The Manor closes 29 October and reopens for Christmas 22 November.

5. Haunted Half Term 

It’s getting spooky at Waddesdon this Haunted Half Term.

Try your hand at our educational Trick or Treat Skeleton Trail and discover if our creepy facts are tricks (false) or treats (true)! (Sat 21-Sun 29 Oct 2023)

Do you have nerves of steel? Come join Zoolab down at the Power House (21 October & 22 October 2023) and meet some creepy critters including scary spiders, lethal lizards, terrifying tarantulas and much more!
