With engaging, hands-on talks and workshops, led by a variety of experts, step back in time to experience how people in the past used science and technology.

There will be a range of different specialties to learn about, from tools and techniques used in medieval forging to the pottery creation methods that have been used through generations. There’s also the chance to learn about a broad range of topics including emerging technologies throughout history and the presence of science within the natural world.

And, there’s no better setting for this day of discovery than Waddesdon. This stunning French-styled chateau, set amidst beautiful gardens and grounds, provides the perfect backdrop for pupils to immerse themselves in history, science, and technology all in one event!
