Golden Mede wins WhatHouse Award

Golden Mede is a new high-quality housing development in Waddesdon comprising seventy five new homes, devised and managed by the Rothschild Foundation with architects C.F. Møller.

The Rothschild Foundation is very pleased to announce the Hornbeam House at Golden Mede has won Gold in ‘Best House’ at the 2019 WhatHouse Awards.

The award was made at the annual ceremony and industry gathering in London this month (November 2019).

The judges said “Architect C.F. Møller was chosen for its innovative approach and track record in sustainable design and the house consequently has a host of energy-saving features including a wastewater heat recovery system, twin-zoned heating controls, high levels of thermal insulation and airtightness, and a car charging point.”
