Wildlife in the Garden: Bat Walk
Sat 28 Sep 2019
6pm-7pm, soup & sandwich in the Stables Café
7pm-9pm, guided bat walk
With so many old trees, open space and an impressive Mansion House built on the hillside at Waddesdon, it is no wonder that so many species of native bats use Waddesdon as their home.
This evening walk, led by a local bat expert, will identify our bat population as they leave their daytime roosts and make their way out into the garden in search of a tasty morsel or two. We’ll look at the types of bat friendly habitats and ways that we can encourage bats to use our gardens.
On arrival, you will be able to enjoy soup and a sandwich in the Stables Café before leaving for the guided walk.
