HouseThis year we celebrate the weird and wonderful animals of Waddesdon. See an elephant parade inspired by an 18th-century musical automaton to a life-sized zebra and trees decked with birds and mythical beasts.
While Waddesdon’s main rooms are ‘put to bed’ for cleaning and conservation, parts of the House are opened specially for Christmas, with decorations that celebrate the weird and wonderful animals of Waddesdon, from an elephant parade inspired by an 18th-century musical automaton to a life-sized zebra and trees decked with colourful birds and mythical beasts.
Pick up our free children’s trail at the entrance to the House.
Please note that advance booking is essential as there will be no House tickets for sale on the day. We still have availablity for House tickets left between Christmas and New Year. All other house tickets have now sold out.
