From dusk until 6pm
This Christmas we’re bathing the outside of the house in a light and sound show every 15 minutes from dusk.
From dusk each day during the festive season the outside of the house is bathed in light while the ‘Lafite’ candlestick sculptures by Joana Vasconcelos are lit from within.
The light and sound show animates the façade of the house with rainbow colours. Created by Woodroffe Bassett Design, the four-minute performance runs every 15 minutes.
The shows, and the lighting which connects them, are choreographed to music which has links to the collections or is by composers with Rothschild family associations. Some of the music also has a Christmas theme.
We suggest that you wrap up warm for all weather conditions and wear outdoor footwear.
Please be aware that the show contains short periods of flashing lights.
