Waddesdon Charity of the Year Announced
We are delighted to announce that Young Carers Bucks have been voted Waddesdon's Charity of the Year for 2018.
Staff and volunteers at Waddesdon were asked to nominate a local charity close to the Waddesdon estate which is considered to be of significant benefit to the local community. They chose Young Carers Bucks to be their chosen charity for 2018.
As the winning charity Young Carers Bucks will benefit from Waddesdon staff and volunteer’s hands-on support in the coming year. A special team building event will be held on the estate to highlight and celebrate the charity’s work. Young Carers Bucks will also receive a grant from the Rothschild Foundation.
Beth Sawers, Fundraising Manager of Young Carers Bucks commented “I am absolutely over the moon that you have chosen Young Carers for the Charity of the Year. We honestly can’t thank you enough”.
Waddesdon staff and volunteers and the Rothschild Foundation look forward to supporting the charity over the coming 12 months.
