Alice’s Wonderlands, an exhibition celebrating the life, collections and legacy of Alice de Rothschild, returns this year after its debut in 2022. Displays in the house uncover how she put her own stamp on Waddesdon—in contrast to and spite of contemporary expectations.

Tulips at Waddesdon

This spring over 50,000 red and yellow tulips will bloom on the Parterre at Waddesdon with thousands more vibrant pink and purple tulips appearing in the Aviary garden. The tulips will be at their best between mid-April and May so don’t miss the chance to see these breath taking displays.

18th century sculpture

Half moon path in the gardens with statue

After being covered for winter to protect them from frost, the 18th century statues throughout the grounds have now been uncovered. Now is the perfect time to admire the various sculptures that Baron Ferdinand placed to create points of interest or to frame views in the gardens of the manor.

Visit the Elephants

Don’t forget to say hello to our family of three Indian elephant sculptures as you explore the grounds. The life-size tusker, matriarch and a female calf can be found in Half Moon Walk in the Pleasure Grounds.
