Waddeson Estate privacy policy

The Waddesdon Estate Office manages the wider Waddesdon Estate, Waddesdon Farms, Lower Blackgrove Farms, Waddesdon Stud, Kingsland Farm, the Louisa Cottages Charitable Trust, Arthur Goodwins Almshouses, Waddesdon Village Hall and land owned SJP Trust Corporation on behalf of the Rothschild Family and the Rothschild Family Trusts, and a number of residential properties on behalf of the Rothschild Foundation, (and unless individually stated, further collectively referred to as 'The Waddesdon Estate').

This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you connect with us through employment or as a service provider, when you apply for a job, apply for a tenancy or contact us via telephone or via email.

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018
The Waddesdon Estate makes every effort to comply with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulations and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you work with us as a direct employee, (as a permanent, temporary or work experience employee), or as a third party supplier/contractor, attend an event, apply for a job or a tenancy with us, or access estate information via the Waddesdon Manor website. Website information is collected using cookies.

How will we use the information about you?
We collect information about you to process and manage your employment, your tenancy, process job applications and, if you agree, to email you with other information we think may be of interest to you.

The use of your information may involve sharing your information with employees, contractors, agents and professional advisors of The Waddesdon Estate, fraud prevention agencies, and other carefully selected organisations. Written agreement exists between The Waddesdon Estate and such parties that there must be no further disclosure of personal data or usage for direct marketing by those organisations unless you consent.

Marketing
If you are interested in renting a property from the Estate we will hold your details on a prospective tenancy list to provide you with marketing information about suitable properties when they come available.

You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes or from giving your information to any third parties as detailed above.

If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please either respond to the email or contact us to request your removal from the prospective tenancy list at:

Access to your information and correction

We want to make sure your personal information is accurate and up to date and you can ask us to correct or remove information you may think is inaccurate.

If, subsequently, you make a data protection instruction to The Waddesdon Estate which contradicts a previous instruction, (or instructions), then The Waddesdon Estate will follow your most recent instruction.
