We are looking for volunteers to join our friendly team!
Our Volunteers add joy to any visit, welcoming visitors and making sure they have the best day at Waddesdon. By getting involved, you could spend time surrounded by a beautiful landscape and charming historic property.
We have opportunities to volunteer in the House, Grounds, the Stables Café and Learning teams!

Volunteering Opportunities
Food to Go volunteer
We are looking for Food to Go volunteers to help support our dynamic and friendly Catering Team at the Stables at Waddesdon. You could find yourself helping to prepare the sandwiches, picnic baskets and children’s pack lunches that are so popular at Waddesdon. Based in the bustling Stables area, you will be a valuable part of the team that provides a high level of catering for our visitors
Stables Café volunteer
Are you a friendly, welcoming person? Can you help the Catering team greet visitors to the Stables Café? Based in a historic courtyard, near the woodland playground, the café receives many hungry visitors that need a warm welcome and delicious food. If you’re interested, we would love to hear from you!
House host
Love history and chatting with people? Our House Hosts bring the stories of Waddesdon Manor to life! They tell stories about the house, its history and collections and adapt these to suit different audiences. If you are interested, please let us know!
Grounds host
Love the outdoors, greeting and chatting with people, then Grounds Hosting could be for you! This is a directional role, providing our visitors with information about Waddesdon and helping them get the best out of their day!
Learning volunteer
Love Learning? Then why not encourage the younger generations to get involved with new experiences and activities, when school groups visit. The Learning team get involved with many projects throughout the year and it would be great to welcome more volunteers to help them!
Pastry Volunteer
Waddesdon Manor prides itself on the quality of food served to our visitors. All the food is prepared in our own kitchens. Wherever possible, our dedicated chefs seek out local suppliers and insist on only the finest ingredients.

Wedding Cake Host
Fancy volunteering at a unique location? Well this might be the role for you. We are looking for volunteers to support the visits and tours to the Wedding Cake, a 10 metre-high fun ceramic sculpture. This role will suit you if you love talking to people and ensuring they have the best day!
