Since 1883, hospitality has been a cornerstone of Waddesdon’s heritage and history. Members can become part of this tradition by joining the Waddesdon Wine Club in celebrating the exceptional portfolio of Rothschild wines through an impressive calendar of tastings, wine-paired dinners, cellar sessions, and educational member events at Waddesdon Manor, with the added benefit of wine deliveries right to members’ doors. 

By joining the UK centre of Rothschild wines, members have the opportunity to explore a prestigious portfolio of over 29 Rothschild-owned estates spanning six continents.

An Immersive Experience in the Art of Fine Wine

With 140 years of heritage behind it, the club offers a unique opportunity for wine enthusiasts of all levels to connect and engage in the historic Waddesdon Manor setting.

Since its creation, Waddesdon Manor has been synonymous with exceptional hospitality and fine wine thanks to the heritage of the Rothschild family, who built and continue to care for Waddesdon Manor.

The Wine Cellars

These atmospheric rooms, modelled on the private cellars at Château Lafite Rothschild, store a historical collection of more than 15,000 bottles, the most extensive collection of Rothschild wine worldwide.

The cellars feature a striking collection of wine-related artworks, including Château Mouton Rothschild wine label designs, a tradition started by Baron Philippe who invited renowned artists to create yearly labels.

In 2004, King Charles III, then Prince of Wales, contributed a design to mark the Entente Cordiale centenary.

Our chefs carefully craft every dish at our wine-paired dinners, using the finest seasonal ingredients. Much of this produce comes from Eythrope Gardens, just three miles from Waddesdon Manor.

Originally designed by Alice de Rothschild in the late 19th century and meticulously restored by the late Lord and Lady Rothschild, these gardens continue to supply fresh produce and flowers to the Manor Restaurant, ensuring each flavour reflects the estate’s heritage.
