A live talk in our new online series about ‘The Rothschilds and Waddesdon’, focusing on the Manor’s Jewish connections.

Join Pippa Shirley, Director of Collections, for a virtual tour exploring the history of the Rothschild family and their creation of Waddesdon Manor and its superb collections.

Four generations of the Rothschilds have been involved with creating and caring for Waddesdon. While the wider European family have been active collectors and philanthropists in Israel and elsewhere for over 200 years.

The tour will include a look at the most recent new display, A Rothschild Treasury, which celebrates the magnificence of the Kunstkammer, and the family’s passion for collecting.
