Rothschild Foundation launches Covid-19 Support Fund
The new fund marks the next phase of the Foundation's community support for those affected by the Coronavirus outbreak
The support fund will focus on third sector organisations adversely affected by Covid-19 or experiencing increased demand for their services as a result of the outbreak. In particular, the Foundation hopes to address community needs that have intensified during the crisis, such as mental health and social isolation, and looks to support sectors that are an important part of the rebuilding process, including culture and environment.
Grants of between £5,000 and £50,000 will be available to organisations who provide a service to residents in Buckinghamshire. This builds on funding the Foundation provided within the initial months of the crisis, such as supporting Buckinghamshire Council’s crisis fund and charities such as the One Can Trust foodbank in High Wycombe, which has seen a huge increase in the amount of people who need emergency food aid. The Foundation hopes that, through this initiative, local organisations are able to continue their valuable work in local communities now and in the future.
Applications for the new Covid-19 support fund can be made until December 2020. More details here>
