After four fabulous years of Feast, 2020 will continue Waddesdon Summer Fest, first introduced in 2019. This new event builds on the successes of Feast but offers something different to our visitors than we’ve seen elsewhere. Food and drink will be a huge part of Summer Fest along with street theatre and family fun activities so that visitors have a full day visit with plenty of time to eat and shop. We are excited to welcome you on board for Summer Fest 2020!

Waddesdon Manor
Nestled in the Chiltern Hills, Waddesdon Manor was built in the style of a French château by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in the 19th-century. With thousands of visitors every, our yearly special events grow in popularity every year with food and drink firmly at their core. Who are our visitors?
As this will be the inaugural Summer Fest we don’t have any information from year’s gone by BUT we expect to welcome a similar audience to Feast 2019 which was:
- Over 64% were family groups
- Over 20% were adults with their friend/partner
- Visitors mostly came to enjoy the food, drink and entertainment on offer
Marketing
Summer Fest will be one of our biggest events of the year which we want to make a success of so our marketing team work hard to get the message out through flyers distributed in their 1000s, outdoor posters, online ads and radio advertising.

Win prizes in our 'Best Dressed Stall' competition
Each morning around 11 am we will take a photograph of every stall, the judging panel will then select a winner, which will be announced via email that evening.
1st Prize – Certificate, a bottle of wine, social media highlight.
Make use of multi-level displays, props, texture, clear signage, extra lighting and decorative touches.
