*A Limited number of spaces are available in the premium car park at the top of the hill behind the North Fountain, parking spaces must be booked with your Grounds admission.

Advance booking online
All Grounds and House & Grounds admissions, bus tickets, premium parking spaces and festive afternoon teas must be pre-booked. Tickets are limited and may sell out. All visitors must have their own valid tickets, which must be produced, along with any valid membership card, to gain entry to the event

Either bring PDF tickets to be scanned on your phone or print at home and bring them with you

Book tickets

All Grounds and House & Grounds admissions, bus tickets, premium parking spaces and festive afternoon teas must be pre-booked online for all visitors.

Please note your house admission, afternoon tea, bus and parking tickets are not valid without a Christmas Grounds admission ticket.

Free tickets for under-5s must also be booked to avoid overcrowding

Memberships
National Trust, Art Fund, HHA and RHS members, and local resident pass holders must also pre-book by selecting the relevant ticket type on the ticket page.

Valid membership cards must be produced along with booking to gain entry on the day

Book tickets

Tickets and scanning
After purchasing your tickets online, within an hour you will receive a confirmation email with your entry tickets attached.

Having your tickets ready to scan on arrival speeds up admission. Ideally, please have your PDF tickets open on your mobile phone or tablet when you arrive or print them at home. It is advisable to pre-download your tickets or take a photo of each of them, as signal onsite fluctuates.

Cancellations and refunds
Please be sure that you have chosen the right date and time slot at the time of making your booking, as Waddesdon and Prioticket are not able to offer exchanges or refunds once tickets have been purchased. We are also not able to offer refunds/duplicates on unwanted/lost tickets.

Bad weather or safety cancellation
Inevitably bad weather can affect any open-air event. If we have to cancel the event as it is unsafe to proceed (for example high wind, heavy snowfall or icy conditions), visitors will be automatically refunded and will be able to rebook for an alternative date. No refunds will be offered simply if the weather is inclement. Any decision to cancel the event will be taken by 9am on the day of an event.

Grounds-only admission

Your ticket is valid for the hour of your arrival, eg arriving between 1.00-1.59pm for a 1pm timeslot. Hour-long arrival timeslots are to ensure visitor arrivals are spread throughout the day. Please do not arrive early, as you will not be able to enter early. Our team on the ground will do their best to accommodate late arrivals.

House & Grounds admission

Please allow at least 30 minutes between the time of your arrival and your selected timed House entry slot to allow sufficient time to get to the house entrance.

• Walking to the Manor takes about 25-30 mins from the car park, along a lit, hard-surface path which has a steep section
• Premium Parking spaces can be booked online, £30 per car, these are in the premium car park at the top of the hill behind the North fountain
• Bus tickets £2.50 Adult, £1.50 Child (3-17 years), can be booked online
• Bus tickets are valid for all journeys made on the day of your visit
• Standard visitor car park includes Blue Badge parking
• Blue Badge holders and their carer must each book a bus ticket (free of charge)
• Last buses to visitor car park 7.30pm

Christmas at Waddesdon is an event presented in the natural landscape and Waddesdon is on a hill. Most visitors will walk from the car park along a hard-surface path, which includes steep sections; this path may not be suitable for all pushchairs and buggies.

Pre-booking a premium parking space or shuttle bus tickets at the time of booking admission tickets is recommended for those who might find the walk difficult.

Premium parking allows you to park nearer the Manor and will allow for greater ease of access but is not advised for Blue Badge or disabled visitors. Blue Badge parking is in the main car park and free bus tickets for users/companions should be booked with admission tickets. Bus tickets are valid for all journeys on the day.

The light trail is almost all on flat and tarmac surfaces.

There is a steep path to the Stables, we recommend those with mobility requirements take the bus from North Fountain to the Stables.

Wheelchairs are available to borrow on a first come first served basis, these cannot be reserved.

There is a Changing Places accessible toilet within the Manor, access is via the Gift and Wine Shop.

In the house, there are ramps that enable entry at the main entrance. Inside, there is step-free access on the ground floor. Access to the first floor is by lift, operated by a member of staff. Please note some walkways through rooms are narrow, carry chairs and seat sticks are not permitted. Seating available upon request.

Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome in most outdoor areas. It can get crowded at peak times and there are lots of lights, cables and speakers at doggy level which may cause your dog distress. We would suggest that the experience at Christmas might not be suitable for our four-legged friends as the Light trail features moving and sudden lights and sounds.

We now allow dogs on the shuttle buses from the car park to the Manor. However, at busy times, when visitors may be standing in the bus aisle, we may ask you and your dog to wait for the next available bus.

Festive food-to-go will be available from the Manor Terrace, Coffee Bar, and Stables Takeaway.

In the Manor Restaurant, festive afternoon teas will be served (pre-booking essential).

At the Stables Café, enjoy freshly-made fish & chips.

There will be a variety of independent street food traders at the Food Village (located near the Manor and Christmas Fair), open until 7pm each day.

Card and cash payments accepted at Waddesdon’s own outlets and stalls at the market and Food Village. Please note there is no cash machine or cash back facility on site.

Afternoon teas 22 Nov 2023 – 1 Jan 2024
£32.50 Adult, £17.50 Child

If you are booking an afternoon tea, please select a restaurant sitting at least 30 minutes after your Grounds admission to allow sufficient time to get to the restaurant.

If you are booking an afternoon tea with House & Grounds admission, please select an afternoon tea sitting at least 40-50 minutes after your House entry time.

Those with special dietary requirements, please state your request in the ‘note’ section at checkout.

The manor restaurant is accessed via the gift and wine shop.

• Toilets and baby change facilities are located at the Welcome Pavilion, Stables, and Manor.
• The Changing Places accessible toilet within the Manor is available for those who need it.
• Drinking water taps are provided near the Woodland Playground, Coffee Bar and at the Stables.

This is an event with outdoor elements and there is very limited shelter. Please make sure you wear appropriate warm, waterproof clothing and footwear.

Lighting may be low level in parts of the grounds, so you may wish to bring a torch.

We occasionally use photographs taken at Christmas at Waddesdon for promotional purposes. If there is photography taking place on the day of your visit there will be signs to notify you and your permission will be sought before taking your photograph.
