The Tempest

Shakespeare’s final masterpiece is brought to vivid, magical life in this brand-new adaptation as part of the 2026 Buckinghamshire Shakespeare Festival.
Long ago, Prospero dedicated his life to the study of magic, and paid the price for his devotion. Usurped of his dukedom and banished to a remote island with his infant daughter Miranda, he vowed to have his revenge…
This new take of Shakespeare’s classic play is produced by Queens Park Arts Centre’s award-winning in-house storytelling company Unbound.

Twelfth Night
Sunday 26 July | 12pm – 2.30pm
Shakespeare’s iconic comedy as you’ve never seen it before, in a brand-new adaptation as part of the 2026 Buckinghamshire Shakespeare Festival.
Good News: After almost performing the wrong play at last year’s festival, our troupe have knuckled down, gotten their act together, and promised that this year’s show will be flawless.
Bad News: Well… you’ll find out soon. Still, we’re certain that their take on Shakespeare’s tale of dual identities, pranks on puritans, and tangled love will pass without a hitch.

The Railway Children

Bobbie (that’s me), Peter & Phyllis, (ow! Stop pinching me). I mean Phil, have been swept off to the English countryside by our Mom, who is suddenly far too busy to play with us.
Left to explore our new home, (if you can call it that), it’s not long before the railway calls from the bottom of the garden. As we follow the tracks to the local station, we discover a whole new world full of strange characters, romance (stop retching, Peter), peril and questions that definitely need answering!
The Railway Children is presented to you by Paperback Theatre.

Sword in the Stone
Friday 31 July | Workshop at 12.30pm & Show at 2pm
Young Wart dreams of becoming a squire, while his childhood friend Morgan sets her sights on fame and fortune. As they travel to the Tournament in London, they meet a host of colourful characters who guide them through strange challenges and teach them lasting lessons about friendship, courage, and finding their way in the world.
Come and have some fun with the actors in a drama games workshop before the performance where you will learn some of the songs from the show and find out more about the characters you are going to watch. Recommended for age 5-10. Visit Visitor Information before 12pm to sign up (spaces limited).
A Midsummer Night Dream

With quick character changes, playful invention, and a sparkle of silliness, Four Forty transform the classic into a joyful afternoon of theatre for audiences of all ages.
Whether you’re a Shakespeare lover or brand new to his plays, this production brims with warmth, laughter, and unexpected surprises.

Everywhere’s a Beach

Everywhere’s a Beach is perfect for the whole family, as a charmingly ridiculous performance, taking place on a giant revolving beach parasol! Produced by Hikappe Theatre.
You’ll be swept away as this show embraces everything we love about the beach. Our spinning parasol creates the perfect setting for our eccentric beach loving characters. Watch as their world collides with yours, as sophistication turns to chaos in this aerial circus performance.
Everywhere’s a Beach is a non-verbal production, making it accessible for deaf audiences, and for audiences who may not use English as a first language.



Sherlock Holmes: The Hound of the Baskervilles

The Pantaloons present The Hound of the Baskervilles. How can one show possibly contain so much action and adventure? Elementary, my dear! The critically-acclaimed Pantaloons Theatre Company present a brand-new riff on the fiendishly famous case. Will detective duo Holmes and Watson discover the deadly secret of the Baskerville family curse before it strikes again? Or are they barking up the wrong tree?

The Three Musketeers

From the moment young Jim Hawkins stumbles upon a treasure map at the Admiral Benbow Inn he finds himself embroiled in the murky underworld of pirates – and soon he is on the high seas in search of the pirate hoard . But once aboard the Hispaniola, Jim becomes only too aware that he is not the only one who knows of the map’s existence..
