Manor Works 2026
Ground Source Heat Pumps
A major investment partnership between the National Trust and Rothschild Foundation will replace the Manor’s ageing gas boilers with the National Trust’s largest ever Ground Source Heat Pump System proving that historic houses can lead the way in decarbonisation.
Pediment Restoration
Ahead of our 150th anniversary, work is underway to conserve the stone façade of the Manor. This requires construction of a large scaffold to give safe access to the roofline for the specialist masons and conservators who will be carrying out the work. Although views of the Manor are impacted while work is in progress, this essential conservation will help protect the building for generations to come.
