new Wild wood Adventure playground now open
After 10 months in the making, 17 tonnes of sustainable wood, 5 different species of trees and 1 giant bird, our Wild Wood Adventure Playground is now open!
Nestled amongst beautiful woodland, the Wild Wood Adventure Playground has been inspired by Waddesdon Manor and designed especially for children aged 2–12 years old.
Packed with exciting features, hidden surprises and plenty of opportunities for imaginative play, Wild Wood is a place where families can explore, play and make memories together.

ZIP, ZOOM, CLIMB, CRAWL
At the heart of the playground is the Lost Mansion, an imaginative structure inspired by Waddesdon Manor itself, complete with curious corners and playful spaces.
SLIP, SLIDE, SWING SOAR
An elevated treetop walkway links to the Manor’s existing hill slide. Children can travel quite a long way at height with different challenges and stopping spots along the way through netted tunnels and exciting play features.
Wild Wood invites young adventurers to zip and zoom along winding routes, climb and crawl through imaginative play spaces, and discover hidden surprises around every corner. Rope walks, ladders, balancing bars and encounters with well known Waddesdon Manor creatures will challenge and charm all the family.
