Join us for a relaxed house opening for anyone who would appreciate a calmer visit.

Dates: 13 September & 9 October.

Our Relaxed House Openings are an opportunity to explore the house at your own pace with fewer visitors. They are tailored to anyone who would prefer a calmer environment, including neurodivergent visitors.

You are welcome to re-enter the house as many times as you like and stay as long as you choose. Please note that general public admission will begin at the end of the hour.

We have a suggested one-way system around the house, however you may wish to choose your own route.

Waddesdon Manor staff and volunteers will be there to support you during your visit should you need any assistance.

What we offer:

  • A Quiet Space in the House which includes items such as a comfortable chair and some fidget toys. If you would like to use the Quiet Space, please speak to one of our friendly staff or volunteers.
  • Videos will be playing in the house. If you would like us to make any adjustments to the sound, please speak to one of our friendly staff or volunteers.
  • Sunflower lanyards and ear defenders are available to borrow on request.
  • Step-free access via a stair climber at the Main Door and a lift in the house.
  • No guided tours or group bookings during this hour.
