NURSERY & early years foundation stage
We are excited to announce our new Nursery & Early Years Foundation Stage programme for 2026. Launching in the summer term, our new nursery sessions, Hickory Dickory Dock: Who’s Up That Clock? and Teddies’ Teatime, are designed for children aged 2 – 4 years old with the option to add on a play or craft session to extend your visit.

Nursery Groups
We have two fabulous sessions for nurseries: ‘Hickory Dickory Dock, What’s Up That Clock?’, and ‘Teddies’ Teatime’.
Hickory Dickory Dock, What’s up the Clock
Using the rhyme ‘Hickory Dickory Dock’, pupils will explore the Manor following our own mouse family. They will find different animals on our clocks using sound and movement. They will investigate numbers using parachute games, and spend the afternoon in small world play.
Teddies Teatime
Based on the Teddy Bears’ Picnic, we learn about tea parties using rhyme, movement, and storytime. They will make their own teddy bear headband before heading on their own bear hunt, with the chance to taste different types of tea and experience a picnic in the woods. In the afternoon, there is the opportunity for outdoor play, making mud pies and treats.
