We have plenty of free seasonal events happening over the school summer holidays. What’s more, kids get FREE grounds admission during school holidays. With a different theme each week, there’s something for everyone!
Wild Wood Adventure Playground
Tucked into scenic woodland, Waddesdon Manor’s Wild Wood Adventure Playground offers kids aged 2–12 endless room for imaginative play. From the “Lost Mansion” to an elevated treetop walkway leading to the famous hill slide, the playground is packed with netted tunnels, playful challenges, and hidden surprises for the ultimate family day out.
Outdoor Theatre
Pack a picnic blanket and join us for live performances under the open sky this summer. Our summer programme features something for all ages, including Shakespeare, Treasure Island, The Railway Children, and Sherlock Holmes.
Best of all, every show is included FREE with Grounds Admission.
Don’t Forget to Refuel
Feeling hungry? Grab something to go at one of our takeaway outlets, offering hot and cold drinks, sweet treats, sandwiches, and hot light bites. Or, pull up a chair at the Stables Café for a relaxed, family-friendly meal. From casual lunches to delicious treats for all ages, our menu is made to be enjoyed together.
Great British Summer Savings Initiative
Our children’s admission prices have been reduced as part of the Great British Summer Savings initiative (25 June – 24 July). Plus, you can keep everyone fuelled up for less with discounted kids’ food options across the site until 1 September.
Visiting during the school holidays? From 25 July, children enjoy FREE Grounds Admission for the entire summer until 1 September.
