Standing With Giants (Twilight Opening)

Experience Standing with Giants as day turns to night during these special after-hours openings at Waddesdon Manor. Arriving as the sun begins to set, you'll have the opportunity to explore the installation in the fading light, when the silhouettes take on an even more powerful and atmospheric presence across the landscape. As dusk settles over the grounds, the figures stand in quiet reflection against the evening sky, creating a poignant and memorable experience. With exclusive access outside of normal opening hours, visitors can witness the changing light transform both the artwork and the natural lansdcape. Each evening will include a special performance on the South Terrace to complement this unique experience. Created by Standing with Giants, the moving For Your Tomorrow installation commemorates the 1,476 lives lost under British command on D-Day. Set within the beautiful grounds of Waddesdon, the life-sized silhouettes offer a striking tribute to courage, sacrifice and remembrance.
