Waddesdon Manor is thrilled to welcome back Standing with Giants in October and November 2026, featuring the deeply moving D-Day 1476 – For Your Tomorrow installation. This stunning display commemorates the 1,476 lives lost under British command on D-Day, 6 June 1944. Created in partnership with Standing with Giants, this community-based project honours those who gave their lives for our freedom today. 

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us run this special event. As a volunteer, you will be the warm welcome that makes a visitor’s day unforgettable, all while immersing yourself in the beauty of Waddesdon Manor’s historic landscape.
