The grounds, gardens, Aviary, woodland playground and Roses from my Garden free exhibition are now open. The wine cellars and restaurant remain closed.
We are now offering a short, ground-floor route to give visitors a chance to see inside the Manor for the first time this year. Entry is free with pre-booked grounds tickets and will be on a first come basis between 11am-3.30pm. Visitors will be asked to queue outside and family/household groups of up to 6 will be invited in to maintain social distancing. We cannot guarantee admission as this is a trial for opening the house; your patience is appreciated.
Take away food is available from the Treaterie at the Stables, Woodland Café and Manor Courtyard Coffee Bar. The gift and wine shop, and toilets are open.
Please bring a face covering with you. Coverings must be worn on shuttle buses, in the house, gallery, toilets, shop and cafés.
We are capping visitor numbers and staggering arrival times to avoid congestion.
All visitors, including National Trust members and children of all ages should book tickets online in advance of their visit.
Visitors are reminded that the law now stipulates that you may only visit or interact in a group of up to six people (unless visiting in a household or support bubble which is larger than 6). Please do not make arrangements to meet others at Waddesdon which will exceed this new ‘Rule of 6’.
We are running shuttle buses with strict capacity limits. Bus tickets should be purchased in advance with grounds admission. Blue Badge holders and their carers, may book space on the bus for no additional charge.
We expect most visitors will continue to walk the wood chip path to reach the Manor, which takes about 20 minutes and has some steep sections.
A limited number of Premium Parking spaces at the top of the hill may be booked when booking tickets.
