We are delighted to announce that Florence Nightingale Hospice have been voted Waddesdon’s Charity of the Year 2019.
Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity funds palliative care and emotional and therapeutic support for patients with life-limiting or terminal illnesses, and support for their families. As well as care in the Hospice for those at the end of life, services funded by the Charity include 24/7 Nightingale end of life care at home, the Day Hospice, Florrie’s Children’s Team and the Community Palliative Care Team, and the Lymphoedema Clinic and Bereavement Listening Service.
As the winning charity Florence Nightingale Hospice will benefit from Waddesdon staff and volunteer’s hands-on support in the coming year. They are absolutely delighted to have been selected and have promised to make their year of involvement with Waddesdon memorable.
Waddesdon staff and volunteers and the Rothschild Foundation look forward to supporting the hospice over the coming 12 months.
