Tasting notes
Aromas of coffee and caramel accompany an opulent presence on the palate; the attack is smooth and impressions of roundness persist through the finish. Still, the wine resists aging, preserving a slight firmness which balances the softness of the super-ripe tannins.

It doesn't feel like a second wine, there's nothing thin about this wine. It feels luscious and dense yet approachable and open for business now. The nose kicks off with layers of black cherry, charred vanilla, cocoa, tobacco, spicy oak and blueberry coulis. The tannins feel ripe and there's an exotic element to the wine with fairly low acidity and super juicy fruit. A polished finish hints a cloves and cassis with touches of dark chocolate.
