les Parcellaires de Saulx Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2019, A.C Bourgogne Rouge

Les Parcellaires de Saulx is a tailor-made wine house located in Meursault, which was created in September 2017 on the foundations of a centuries-old establishment. It enjoys a privileged location with an outstanding view over the vineyards of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. The establishment boasts extensive and historic cellars covering more than 1500 square metres, which ensure that wines are produced, aged and stored in perfect conditions. Les Parcellaires de Saulx represent around 30 appellations produced on the most prestigious terroirs of Burgundy, from Côte de Beaune to Côte de Nuits, from village appellations to Grands crus. Their ethos is simple and focuses purely on quality and regional identity.

Tasting notes

Nice cherry robe, with tints of purple. The bouquet boasts red fruits, such as strawberry and raspberry, with a spicy peppery touch. In the mouth, it is fleshy and fruity and also delicate. There’s a layered complexity that rolls out on the finish leaving earthy spice and warm slate.  A well balanced wine with silky tannins. The fruit from this A.C Bourgogne derives exclusively from Gevrey Chambertin, and that is evident on the palate. The quality is a clear cut above the standard you usual expect in this regional classification and that is a key contributor to this wines cellar potential of five years.
