Made only in the best vintages this is made solely from Merlot. The nose is fantastic with notes of black cherry compote, toasted vanilla, dark chocolate, black forest gateau and cassis. The palate is generous in every department with oodles of black fruit and soft tannins. This beauty will age for a decade, yet after a couple of hours in a decanter it really shows well. -

The nose screams left bank Bordeaux; cassis, leather, cedar, brambly red fruit and toasted oak with menthol and cigar box. The palate is loaded with warm vintage fruit, supple tannins and great intensity. Great to drink now, but will evolve well in a cool cellar. -
