Henri Bourgeois Pouilly-Fumé Les Jeunes Vignes 2023 , A.C. Pouilly-Fumé, France
£26.00 – £140.00
For 10 generations, Henri Bourgeois have offered their passion and values as winegrowers to develop Sauvignon Blancs and Pinot Noirs of great character. Each member of the family, Jean-Marie Bourgeois, Arnaud, Lionel and Jean-Christophe, bring their talent to the Domaine. Pouilly-Fumé is one of the purest expressions of Sauvignon Blanc, and although the grape has found a home in nearly every wine-producing country, its spiritual home is still the Loire Valley, and the vineyards in Pouilly-Fumé are its birthplace.
Tasting notes
This Pouilly-Fumé is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on chalky-clay slopes along the banks of the Loire. It is dry, bright and fresh with mineral notes and the charming floral and smoky character typical of the region.
