Tasting notes
There is no doubt that 2009 was one of the best vintages this side of the millennium. Deep red with violet hints, the wine opens up with notes of ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, orange blossom, cedar, smoke and hints of tar. The palate is big and bold intertwined with the elegance you would expect from Grand Cru Pauillac. Exceptional tannin and acidity structure means this is a wine that will age for decades.
