Château d’Aussières is the ‘cuvée d’excellence’, the product of a strict selection process from the best plots in the vineyard, made in limited quantities. The estate was acquired by DBR (Lafite) in 1999, and the resulting wines have improved year upon year. This vintage is Syrah based with a splash of Grenache, and Mourvedre.

Domaine Baron d’Arque was acquired in 1998 by Baroness Philippine de Rothschild. The estate is planted with what could seem like an unusual collection of varieties; Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc alongside Syrah, Grenache and Malbec. The wine offers good ageing potential and serves up power, intensity and complexity.

Blason d’Aussières is the second wine of Domaine d’Aussières – an estate located in Corbieres, which was acquired by DBR (Lafite) in 1999. The blend is almost identical to its counterpart, although Blason tends to be slightly lighter in frame, and not quite as rich as the top cuvee. This vintage characterised by rich black fruit and dried herbs with a prominent spicy streak.
