£80.00 – £432.00 Buy Opulent and alluring. This Pomerol is very 2019 stylistically with it's suave, juicy and generously textured fruit. It doesn't feel like a second wine, there's nothing thin about this wine. It feels luscious and dense yet approachable and open for business now. The nose kicks off with layers of black cherry, charred vanilla, cocoa, tobacco, spicy oak and blueberry coulis. The tannins feel ripe and there's an exotic element to the wine with fairly low acidity and super juicy fruit. A polished finish hints a cloves and cassis with touches of dark chocolate. Great stuff from DBR Lafite. -
