Join us on the picturesque Parterre for a fun and informal wine tasting. Our expert team will guide you through a carefully curated selection of Rothschild and specialist guest wines.
Take in the beautiful formal gardens of Waddesdon whilst trying some of our fantastically sourced wines. Make the most of the beautiful sunshine and unparalleled setting whilst the wine team of Waddesdon take you through the eight specially selected wines.
Wine has always been a focal point at Waddesdon. It was first served during Baron Ferdinand’s dinner parties in the 1880s. Today, we continue the tradition and take pride in housing the finest of the Rothschild wine portfolio in our cellars, spanning six continents and over 100 wines, including an exceptional collection of historic Rothschild claret dating back to 1868.
On the day information for those attending
- Please park in the visitor car park and allow 30 minutes to get from the car park to the Parterre, late arrivals cannot be accommodated
- If you would like to buy tickets on the day, please do so when you arrive at the Welcome Pavilion
- The tasting will take place on the Parterre, on the south side of the Manor. Check our grounds map >
- The tasting will last about 45 minutes
- This event is suitable for ages 18+. Please be aware that we will be operating a Challenge 25 policy
