Sample five specially selected modern and contemporary wines showcasing some of the lesser-known wines that grace Waddesdon’s cellars, under the guidance of Waddesdon’s wine experts.
Join us for a live virtual wine tasting in the cellars at Waddesdon Manor. Led by Peter Tompkins who manages Waddesdon’s unique wine shop and tutored tastings, and Andrew Bloomer who spent three years running the wine department at Fortnum & Mason.
You will be guided through an interactive, informative and entertaining evening. Each household booking will receive five bottles of wine, as well as the tasting and technical notes, food pairing recommendations, tasting mats and the essential Waddesdon pencil to ensure you’ve everything you need for a successful tasting.
We all know and love the classics, modern and contemporary. Whether it be Sancerre or Marlborough Sauvignon, Claret or Argentinian Malbec, these wines are popular and rightly so. However, on this occasion let’s be a little risky and stray from the familiar choices. Join us in the cellars for a virtual tasting showcasing some of the lesser-known wines that grace Waddesdon’s cellars.
