Have you ever taken a moment to listen to the leaves rustling in a gentle breeze? To look closely at the texture of bark on a tree?

Nature plays an essential part in our wellbeing and the practice of mindfulness is to be fully present and aware of where we are and what we’re doing. Life is full of distractions and in this walk Matt Rodda, an experienced mindfulness practitioner, will guide you on how to enhance your connection with nature.

As well as exploring the gardens, Matt will lead some mindful exercises that will make you engage with nature differently. Tune into the present and learn how to maintain a moment-by-moment awareness of your thoughts, feelings and surrounding environment.

These walks will mainly be on paths but there are steep slopes and steps. Matt may ask you to use your phone to take photos for some of the mindfulness exercises.

Meet at 10.30am in the Manor Courtyard outside the shop.

Face coverings may need to be worn on the walk.
