Forget the winter blues and take advantage of our Hygge experience, from enjoying coffee with friends to a country walk around the estate with your dog.

Hygge (pronounced hoo-gah) is all about creating a warm, cosy, comfortable setting and enjoying the simple, valuable things in life. Our Coach House is being transformed into a Scandinavian oasis with activities including den making, story books, board games, jigsaws and we will also be screening retro children’s programmes. Perfect for kicking off your wellies and enjoying some relaxation in the warm.

Enjoy new walks around the grounds, including two walks you can enjoy with your dog. Then snuggle under sheepskin rugs at the Stables café and enjoy a steaming hot chocolate or mulled wine.

We are teaming up again with the Thames Valley Orienteering Club over February half-term for a week of muddy adventure with four different routes to choose from and four special interlocking medals to collect. Also over half-term there is the opportunity to have fun with the family creating a selection of treats and cakes in our Family cookery school.

In March, each weekend enjoy fantastic performances for children by the Paper Balloon Theatre Company, Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and The Pantaloons.
