Celebrate the wines of one of England’s most renowned and innovative winemakers with a fabulous five-course dinner at Waddesdon.
Situated in Appledore, Kent, Gusbourne first planted vines in 2004 with a vision to create the finest vintage wines using grapes exclusively from their own vineyards. Today they offer a diverse portfolio of exceptional wines. Along with a range of wonderful still wines – from a Chardonnay that rivals great white Burgundy to a complex and layered Pinot Noir – they also boast globally acclaimed sparkling wines, true pioneers in the English wine category.
Join us in the cellars for an aperitif of Waddesdon Sparkling wine by Gusbourne, followed by a delicious five-course dinner accompanied by a range of fabulous still and sparkling wines from the estate’s wonderful portfolio. Including their brilliant Gusbourne Guinevere, which we believe to be England’s’ finest still white wine, and the stunning Gusbourne Rose brut 2016.

Important things to know
This event is for ages 18+. We will be operating a Challenge 25 policy on the night.
This is an after-hours event, the gardens and house will be closed. No grounds admission ticket is needed.
Accessibility
The main entry to the wine cellars is down a narrow, steep flight of stairs. If you require step-free access, we will happily arrange this; please include a note in the Dietary Requirements/Access Needs box on the checkout page when booking your tickets.
Parking is accessible and step-free access to the Manor Restaurant is available.

Dress code
The dress code for the evening is smart casual.
On the day
The evening will begin at 7pm with an aperitif in the cellars. After, dinner will be served in the Manor Restaurant. After dinner, you’ll have the chance to browse our range of wines, including those tasted, in the Manor Shop. Departure will be 11.30pm.
Please arrive promptly at the entrance to the Wine Cellars for 7pm, a member of staff will meet you there.
Parking information
Parking will be directly in front of the Manor on the North Front, near the cellars and Manor Restaurant. No cars can be left overnight, please arrange your transport accordingly.
For Sat Nav users our postcode is HP18 0JH. The main visitor entrance is via Silk Street.
Once you have turned onto Silk Street, you will pass through a set of gates and see a small hut ahead of you. Ignore Visitor Car Park signs and follow the main road up to the Manor until you reach a set of gates. Press the intercom and wait for a member of our Security team to answer. Please state that you are here for the Dinner with Gusbourne Estate and they will open the gates.
Continue up the road until you reach a fountain. A member of staff will be there to greet you and show you where to park. Parking will be directly in front of the Manor, near the wine cellars and Manor Restaurant.
