We are delighted to welcome you to celebrate the wines of one of England’s most renowned and innovative wine estates. The evening will be presented by the hugely talented Master Sommelier, Laura Rhys. A night not to be missed for lovers of fine English wine.
Gusbourne estate, situated in Appledore, boasts a diverse portfolio of wines with remarkable quality and individuality; from barrel aged Pinot Noir, to still rosé and fortified wine, through to their internationally recognised sparkling wines. Gusbourne are true pioneers in the English wine category.
Join us on the lawn (weather permitting) for a glass of Waddesdon Sparkling wine by Gusbourne, followed by a seasonal four-course menu designed by our head chef Ben Thurkettle.
This stylish menu has been created to complement four exceptional wines from Gusbourne Estate. Including their brilliant Gusbourne Guinevere, which we believe to be England’s’ finest still white wine, and the stunning Gusbourne Rose brut 2016. There will also be a rather rare form of fortified wine served with coffee to conclude a delightful evening.
Please note this is an after-hours event, the gardens and house will be closed. No grounds admission ticket is needed.
This event is for ages 18+, we will be operating a Challenge 25 policy on the night
