The ultimate chilli experience

Turn up the heat at our annual Chilli festival taking place in the Manor gardens in the beautiful Aviary Gardens. With handpicked exhibitors, all passionate about chilli, the festival guarantees to bring you the best of local artisan producers as well as some of the nation’s best loved independent traders from across the country.

Throughout the weekend you can also enjoy live music, family fun and children’s craft activities as well as the opportunity to walk around the gardens and explore the house (pre-booking recommended). Don’t miss the hottest event this September!

Enjoy a real party atmosphere with live music, face painting and dancing. All the family can share a great experience with kids’ activities and the opportunity to kick back and listen to local performers.


Latin Fiesta

1pm & 4pm

Latin Fiesta is a lively and popular salsa band, led by Colombian ‘Jairo’ and featuring Lola on vocals. They play top Latin dance styles: salsa, cumbia, lambada and more. Guaranteed to get you on your feet.

Beato Burrito

11am & 2pm

Beato Burrito are hotter than a jalapeno, performing rock and pop classics from Britney to Oasis, Kylie to Quo, all in a fun Mexican mariachi style. See them stroll the gardens, serenade and dazzle you with a heady mix of music and tongue in cheek comedy.

Salsa dancing

12pm & 3pm

Join the party with one of these 30 minute demonstrations and performances.

Kids can choose a cactus and then get crafty by decorating their pot. A great keepsake to take home with you. £3 per pot.

It wouldn’t be a festival without having your face painted. So swing by and see our fabulous face painter to look the part. Prices vary per design.

Taster House Visit

Experience the House as if a 19th-century guest of Baron Ferdinand’s and walk through some of the beautiful interiors downstairs. Spot chillies growing in the conservatory!
