Rothschild Claret Selection (In Wooden Presentation Case)

The Rothschild name has long been synonymous with the creation of first class Claret. Since the acquisition of Ch. Mouton in 1853, the family have acquired and invested significantly in numerous Chateaux across the region of Bordeaux. The Rothschild collection encompasses projects in Pauillac, Pomerol, Sauternes, Haut-Medoc, Listrac & St Emilion – it’s safe to say no one does Claret better than the Rothschild’s.
This collection includes representation from Pauillac in the form of the energetic, plush and complex Moulin de Duhart and the restrained and elegant Reserve DBR Pauillac.  Ch. Clarke 2012 offers a toasty, almost rustic note with iron-edged blackberry. Les Granges 2016 brings a sense of precision and purity with cassis, blackberry, cedar, subtle toast and crunchy red fruit. Les Légendes St Emilion is an exotic, sexy St Emilion that is open and expressive from the word go. Last but not least we have Chateau des Laurets 2016, an elegant yet polished wine with chocolate shavings, tobacco, red cherry and spicy plum on the nose. A silky palate follows leaving a trace of cocoa, toast and red cherry. A great case of wine, not to be missed by lovers’ of fine Claret.
