Ronan by Clinet 2012, A.C. Bordeaux Magnum
This wine has been selected as part of our ‘guest’ wine range due to its quality and artisanal approach to wine making. Ronan by Clinet is in essence the third wine of Chateau Clinet, although the fruit used to produce Ronan is collected from parcels across Bordeaux. This vintage is made solely of Merlot which lends plenty of plush red fruit with soft tannin and a rich mouth feel.

Blason de L’Evangile 2012, A.C. Pomerol£59.95 More info & buy Blason de L'Evangile 2012 possesses a purple edged ruby colour. The nose, which is closed down straight from the bottles, requires a few hours in a decanter to blossom. Think cocoa, toast, iron filings, tobacco, cassis, and vanilla spiced plums. The palate has a firm backbone of tannin with perfectly weighted acidity which helps to underpin the suave red cherry fruit. This is a fairly intense vintage of Blason that requires a dish rich in protein, however the fruit is fairly primary and will certainly benefit from a year in the cellar. Decant and enjoy with roast beef.
