The Andes mountains are the longest mountain range in the world, this imposing natural protection is one of the defining influences that makes Chile a true viticultural paradise. Mas Andes, a range of wines released by Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. in 2015, is focused on single varietal expression. The aim is to produce single estate wines that reflect true varietal expression and purity.
Tasting notes
A generous swirl lifts classic merlot notes of redcurrant, cherry, mint and spicy plum. The palate is juicy and soft with subtle tannins enabling this wine to be enjoyed without food. Pop pour and enjoy. At £6.95 a bottle what’s not to love?
