Gusbourne Brut Reserve 2016, Appledore Kent
Gusbourne estate is located just six miles off the cost in Appledore, Kent. The 200 hectare estate possesses plantings of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir. In 2013 they were awarded the IWSC English producer of the year for the second time, and their wines have gone from strength to strength picking up multiple global awards along the way. This is their entry level sparkling made from all three varietals and spends a minimum of 36 months on the lees. This is arguably their best vintage yet!

Deep golden hues in the glass with a persistent and delicate mousse. The nose is full of toasted nuts, nougat, lemon, white peach, green apple and a touch of honey. The palate is rife with red apples, poached pears and bright red berry fruit, displaying more developed notes of freshly baked bread and apple pie. The texture is exquisite with great weight and creaminess followed by an enduring finish.
