Arenile Pecorino Tierre Di Chieti IGT

This cooperative was founded in 1969 and has produced some of the region’s most exciting wines, with over 400 members and 700 hectares of vines. The Pecorino vines are grown on sandy, limestone soils in close proximity to the sea which allows the grapes to ripen but retain freshness. This vintage wine spent around 4 months on the lees just to add to the texture and complexity.

Tasting notes

In the glass the Pecorino is pale yellow with hints of green. The nose is fruit driven with notes of banana, lime, mango and pineapple. The palate is rounded and juicy, with a great backbone of acidity and consistent minerality throughout. A good choice for those who enjoy Viognier.
